Mark Genender is an advisor to WindsorONE.

Mark is the Executive Chairman of The Vitamin Shoppe, a prominent omni-channel vitamin and supplement retailer, a role he assumed in May 2025. He is also Chairman of Serta Simmons Bedding (SSB), a global bedding manufacturer, where he previously served as Executive Chairman and Interim CEO until July 2024. Mark is a Managing Partner at Bristol Growth Capital (BGC), a growth-stage investment firm focused on the consumer/retail, healthcare, and media and technology sectors. BGC has completed investments across these industries, and Mark plays an active advisory and board role in many of its portfolio companies. Since 2018, he has also served as an Operating Adviser to Torch Capital, an early-stage venture fund investing in consumer, health technology, and fintech businesses.

Earlier in his career, Mark held senior investment roles at Guggenheim Partners/Eldridge Industries, where he was responsible for structured transactions across the media, consumer, and industrial sectors. Prior to that, he was a portfolio manager at Red Mountain Capital and co-founded Star Avenue Capital, where he led the firm’s investment in J Brand Jeans. Mark began his private equity career at Fenway Partners in New York and Los Angeles, where he was involved in several of the firm’s consumer-focused investments, including Simmons Bedding Company, Delimex, Easton-Bell Sports, and Harry Winston. He started his professional career in the M&A group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. before gaining operating experience at Nabisco International and PepsiCo International (Frito-Lay Canada).

Mark currently serves on the boards of The Vitamin Shoppe, Serta Simmons Bedding, WindsorONE, QCode Media, and Rithem Life Sciences. Over the course of his career, he has served on more than 20 private company boards and three public company boards, including LSB Industries (NYSE: LXU), Cost Plus World Market (NASDAQ: CPWM), and Nature’s Sunshine (NASDAQ: NATR). He is also an Advisory Board Member at the Julis Rabinowitz Center for Finance at Princeton University and serves on the national investment committee of the American Friends of Hebrew University.

Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in public and international affairs, cum laude, from Princeton University and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
