Ajay Singh is an advisor to Douglas Products.
Ajay has extensive experience in the chemicals, materials, and industrials sectors, with a career focused on investment banking and strategic advisory work. He provides strategic counsel to Brightstar on investment strategy, deal origination, and value creation, with a focus on the industrials and chemical and advanced materials sectors.
Ajay previously founded and built Macquarie Capital’s industrials practice, helping expand it into an international platform. Prior to Macquarie, Ajay served as Global Co-Head of Chemicals at UBS Investment Bank, where he led the firm’s chemicals coverage efforts and advised clients on cross-border transactions across specialty chemicals and advanced materials. Over the course of his career, he has advised on a wide range of mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions.
Ajay brings a global perspective developed through long-standing relationships with executive leadership teams and boards across the chemical and industrial sectors in the United States, Europe, and Asia. He advises companies on strategic partnerships, capital structure considerations, exit planning, and navigating public and private capital markets.
In addition to his advisory roles with Brightstar and Douglas Products, Ajay remains involved with several industrial companies.
Ajay earned an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and holds dual bachelor’s degrees from Rutgers University.
